When you click a product link on this site and make a qualifying purchase on Amazon, we earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Furthermore, the price you pay is identical whether you use our link or navigate to Amazon directly.
How Affiliate Links Work on This Site
Throughout our buying guides and product reviews you will find links to products on Amazon. These links contain an affiliate tracking tag that tells Amazon the click came from Smart Home Network. Consequently, if you purchase within a qualifying window after clicking, we receive a commission.

Does Affiliate Revenue Influence Our Reviews?
No. Our editorial process works in one direction only — we test products first, form an honest opinion, and then write the review. We do not accept payment for positive reviews, sponsored placements, or favorable coverage of any kind.
Furthermore, products that perform poorly in testing receive honest negative reviews regardless of any affiliate relationship. If a router has serious firmware problems or a smart home hub requires an unreliable cloud service, we say so directly. Our long-term credibility depends on readers being able to trust our recommendations — consequently that matters more than any individual commission.
Products We Review
All products reviewed on Smart Home Network are either purchased by Marcus Webb personally, borrowed for long-term testing, or provided by manufacturers as review units. When a product is provided by a manufacturer as a review unit, we disclose this in the relevant article. Our opinions are not influenced by how a product was obtained.
